There are a lot of things that can go wrong with the Android SDK. I feel like I've listed enough previously, so please refer to this post and this post... those are the two most recent ones...

Basically, you need to give us more information. (I'll bookmark this, I guess...)

• What operating system are you using?
• What version of Processing are you using (you need the latest, 2.0b3)?
• What code are you trying?
• Can you run any of the examples?
  
• Can you open the SDK Manager?
• If so, which packages are installed (and if there are none, then install some!)?
• Can you open the AVVD Manager?
• If so, can you start an emulator (and create one if you need to)?
• With either the SDK and AVD Manager, can you launch those from Processing (PDE > Android > SDK Manager)?

In other words, Processing is not looking for Android in the right place. See this response from my second thread above:

In that case... perhaps your Android SDK points to the wrong location. You can fix this:

• Locate the Android SDK with a file browser. Remember the path.
  
• Open File > Preferences.
• Click on the link to the "preferences.txt" file at the bottom.
• Open "preferences.txt" (if it has not already done so) with a plain text editor.
• Modify the property "android.sdk.path" to be the location that you found earlier. If it does not exist, then create it. Mine looks like this: "android.sdk.path=C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk" (without  quotes, and that's with Windows slashes).

If this doesn't work, then it must be something else.

I had the android sdk window open and was looking at different apis. I noticed the sdk path was different than the one i was using so i changed it... and yes, now it works... thanks for your help
