There's no way to do it currently, though you can rotate it, per the wiki, so that it might fit better.

My guess would be, however, that if the machine has that small of a screen (e.g. it's a netbook), then it's gonna be pretty uncomfortable and slow for running the emulator itself, which is really CPU intensive. I'd strongly recommend just using a device plugged in via USB, rather than the emulator, since it'll run at the proper speed and won't nuke your battery (or put you to sleep as you wait for things to start up on the emulator).

Thank you for your reply. Actually, it's not a netbook. It's a Dell laptop with a 13 inch widescreen. 1280 * 800. I could just connect my Android like you suggest, or an external monitor. But I really want to have the option to run the emulator as well.

I've read that there is a way to affect the scale of the virtual device in the AVD manager (accessible through Processing). Starting a virtual device from within there, allows you to select "scale the device to real size". Unfortunelety the VD wont start when i try that.

I´ve also read you can affect the scale starting the device from the command line using the -scale option..

Is it possible to add command line options in execution of the VD?

I actually found a way around this problem.

As I mentioned in the previous post, I noticed that if I start a VD manually through the AVD manager, (Processing -> Android -> Android SDK and AVD Manager) it will crash if I check the "Scale display to real size" option. But If I leave it unchecked, the emulator starts up just fine.

I solved my problem by creating a new VD using the default skin (the default skin is the adequate size for my laptop's screen). And if I leave it open while running a sketch, the sketch is run in that VD.
