draw on an image

I'm trying to create an app like pain, to draw. But the thing is that i want it to draw only over an image and i don't want that image to be defined as background. Could anyone point me in some direction? would appreciate any help.

Exactly that, im kinda embarrassed, i was loading the image inside the draw method :s I think i'm gonna delete this post pretty soon :)

Don't delete threads where people answered, it would be rude for those taking time to give an answer, and it can be useful to people searching it.
Making errors allows to progress and help memorizing and avoiding repeating these errors, so there is nothing to be embarrassed of...
