"Display 0 does not exist, using the default display instead"

Since I upgrade Processing to latest version 2.0b3, in every sketch I get this error:

"Display 0 does not exist, using the default display instead"

Program works OK, but I still don't like that:)

How can I fix this error?

I have seen this message before as well. If you find it necessary to isolate the issue, then do so and report a bug. If it helps, I am on Windows 7 64 bit with Java 6 and have absolutely no clue what kind of code will reproduce the message.

I am suspecting it is an OpenGL issue with MacOS, but I am just guessing (since we don't have much details...).

I'm using Windows XP SP3 32bit.

Afternoon I will test same program on Windows 7 and report if there still be error.

Maybe could be problem with OpenGL, but the error came every time, even with simple program where there is no OpenGL code.

Beware, in 2.0, everything not JAVA2D (ie. not default) is OpenGL now...

Today I tried to run Processing 2.0b3 on Windows 7, and there is no "Display 0 does not exist, using the default display instead" error. Just for information:)

I'm having the same message with Processing 2.0b3 on Linux. My code is working but all my sketches have now this message. Here an example, if can help someone,

PVector location;
PVector velocity;
void setup(){
size(300,300);
location = new PVector(100,100);
velocity = new PVector(2, 3.3);
}
void draw(){
background(255);
location.add(velocity);
if((location.x > width) || (location.x < 0)){
velocity.x = velocity.x * -1;
}
if((location.y > height) || location.y < 0){
velocity.y = velocity.y * -1;
}
fill(175);
ellipse(location.x, location.y,20,20);
}

nevermind.

This problem happens when I run a sketch with 2 monitor connected, then, if for some reason I unplug a monitor and I run a sketch, I've this message, cause the IDE expect to find a monitor that was there before.

Restart the IDE solve the problem.
