Dials, Meters, BarGraph, Digit Displays, Indicators? Library or approach?

Hello Everyone,
I'm working on measuring several variables in a control environment with Arduino.

I need to use processing to create a control and indicator panel with digital numeric displays, round "meter" displays, Bar-Graph type displays, and controls.

I've looked at the great slider libraries like http://www.lagers.org.uk/g4p/applets/g4p_coolsliders/index.html

These are mainly for User INPUT. I need to display OUTPUT in various ways.

Can anyone point to libraries that implement stuff like this? Can you suggest approaches or examples directly coded in processing?

I'm just starting and don't want to reinvent the rotary load-carrying device...

See the topic Optic sketches. gwoptics, which provided the cool sliders you mention, provides 2D and 3D charts.

Otherwise, JFreeChart, which isn't easy to master, might be usable within Processing.

Thanks, I'm looking through Optic Sketches...

Has anyone seen a "Compass with moving needle" or similar output sketch? I need to make a wind-direction indicator as one example.. There are some commercial displays that show wind direction and velocity as a vector on a polar plot.. any ideas??

Did you ever find a working "Compass with moving needle"? This would be very useful for my application.

Maybe you can use this Code and replace

mouseX with your wanted value. 

At the moment it paints a line (needle) in a circle according to MouseX. 
It's a starting point for a compass I guees.
