Hello everyone, I want to generate a sort of simple diagrams with text only, then build the kind of horizontal columns withe bars.
so for example :

value 1: \\\3

value 2: \\\\\5

value 3: \\\\\\\\\\\11

value 4: \\\\\\6

value 5: \\\\\\\\\\10

there is a way to tell to processing to print, in a row, a character (like it "\") many times as it defined by a variable?

A possible way:

int maxSize = <some way to get the max value from your data set>
StringBuilder bar = new StringBuilder(maxSize);
for (int i = 0; i < maxSize; i++) bar.append("\\");

Then you can use bar.substring(0, size); to get the wanted amount of chars.
