Hi, i want to visualiza some data, in form of net. I need to have 200 000 nodes in my visualization... but i have one problem, when i draw more than 800 lines my computer become very slow. So i would like to know is there is a more effective way of drawing lines? Is there is a library that allows to draw the lines in the gpu in processing? what do you recommed?

Lines are a pain for speed (I've posted a couple threads looking for faster methods) and I think with JOGL 1.x they are not hardware accelerated. I believe the new JOGL 2 might have this though, which is part of the current dev build for OpenGL2. See https://codeanticode.wordpress.com/2011/02/09/opengl2-renderer/

At this point, the fastest way to draw lines is going to be dropping down to OpenGL and use a Display List, Vertex Array, or Vertex Buffer Object.

I'd be interested in following your code if you plan to make it available. I've very interested in large graph visualization.
