Fabrica Interactive is looking for an experienced C / C++ / Java / Objective-C creative programmer.
Fabrica is Benetton's research centre on communication located in the Venice area, Italy. It was created in 1994 with the aim of combining culture with industry and offers young people from around the world an opportunity for creative growth and multicultural interchange.
You will work in a wide range of interactive installations, creating human interfaces through computer software and hardware. You are expected to propose and develop you own ideas on how to solve new user interface challenges. You should be able to create re-usable and scalable classes that solve a particular problem for a project, but stay flexible enough to be reused on similar future projects.
OpenFrameworks / Cinder / Processing folks are more than welcome.
We are looking for someone who is capable of using OpenGL and OpenCV, experience creating simple immersive videogame-like experiences through computer vision. Hopefully you will have been curious and messed around with things like Box2D, OpenAL, GL shading language, and so on.
Knowledge of iPhone / Android would be very welcome too.
If interested, contact federica.roncalli@fabrica.it and send a collection of past works.
