If you have the jar that contains that method, you should be able to just drop it in a folder called code inside the sketch folder and call it (createEncodedImage(...)) or anything that relies on the library.

I had a MP3 with an image displayed in VLC (not in Explorer), and not displayed by this program, because it had no PIC / APIC tag. I might take a look to see if there are alternatives.
I suggest to look at several different MP3 files.

the thing is, my mp3s are ripped over a long period of time and not all with the same program.
so they might have different versions of MP3 tagging (V2 or V3 or so)

so some mp3 show images in windows explorer, some don't (most)

a lot show images in iTunes.
