Copy text from sketch window

Is there a way to output text such that it can be copied from a sketch window?

I basically have some console data that I would like to have accessible from the sketch window so I can create a stand alone application without needing the console output. If all else fails I could always output a text file I'm sure.

Not quite sure what you're getting at, but perhaps saveStrings()?

Do you mean text that can be selected and copy / pasted? I'd be interested in that as well if it is what you meant

@jbum - Say you have some text displayed somewhere in your sketch (PApplet window). I know you can display text using fonts but I'd like that displayed text to be selectable so I can copy and paste it somewhere else instead of sending the text to the console.

Oh, you want your app to behave like a normal app with text-editing capabilities. :) Hmm. Fairly easy in Java. Never even tried it in Processing.

I would suggest searching the board, and the older board for messages that mention copy and paste. Here's one of them.
