I think the simple answer is no...  But you might want to look at the pixels[] array.  You can simply copy colours from individual or groups of pixels; the hard part is calculating the index values for the relevant pixels based on the shape you're after.  Or perhaps copy an appropriately sized rectangle and apply a mask in the shape you want?
