control p5 buttons - set visible/hide

is it possible to hide/set visible buttons of control p5.. I'd like to do it like this:
void button1 --> button 2 set visible.. if button1 isn't true anymore, button 2 hide...

If I understood your question correctly:

controlP5.controller("control1").setVisible(!controlP5.controller("control2").isVisible());

Not tested, but that should set the visibility of control1 to the opposite of control2.

If that doesn't work, show() and hide() can be used as well.

The line you wrote is a liitle bit to specific to me and I'd like to know the easier, more general way to set them visible or not.. (so I haven't tried that)

you say show() and hide() is possible.. but how?

controlP5.controller("button2").setVisible(false); just changes the backgroundcolor to black of button2

controlP5.controller("button2").hide(); this also..

so how does it work?

Not sure what the cause of the black background is. Which renderer are you using?

I work with napplets, so I use this buttons in a two-dimensional area (without renderer?) and the rest with P3D. Or what exactly do you mean with renderer?
