Indeed, I always have this window a bit too much on the left, but it is visible for me.
Trick: File > Examples... then hit Alt+Space, then Down arrow key. Hit Return, and you should be able to move the window with arrow keys and mouse.
You access the system menu with Alt+Space, one item is Move. You can try on visible window for training.

Otherwise, examples are in the Processing installation folder, something like processing-1.5.1\modes\java\examples

thanks for an answer. i was in fullscreen (maximized) mode, and Examples window appeared completely off-screen.
