I cannot quit the Processing application without opening the Activity Monitor and force quitting it. The program does not respond to hitting Apple+Q or using the main menus to quit.

This also prevents me from turning off the computer. It's quite annoying. Can someone tell me how to fix it?

What version of Processing are you using 1.5.1? a 2.0 beta? The first thing I'd try would be force-quitting Processing, then deleting the entire preferences folder in ~/Library/Processing. As an added bonus, you may even want to reboot before launching Processing again.
This seems to have worked. Thanks!

BTW this was on the current stable branch of Processing.

(It is still weird, though.)
