Can i use processing on an ipad ?

Im thinking of buying an ipad ,

i use my laptop to do music also and i have it all conected with midi controllers and stuff ,

so if i buy an i pad i can use processing and leave my setup , set up. i dont have to reconnect all the cables and stuff when i take it to the sofa for example.

can i use p5 on an ipad ?

Processing itself, no. AFAIK, Apple doesn't allow Java to run on iPxxx...
You can run ProcessingJS, but I don't think you can do music with it.

Search Google for "ipad Java support" (bearing in mind that Processing requires Java).

There seems to be little point buying an iPad if you want to do development work on it. Frankly IMO there's no point buying an iPad full stop; but I'm heavily biased against Apple products :/
