It seems I would have to know the names of the child objects in order to use getChild. I am using Inkscape to create my svg art. Up till now I haven't bother too much with object properties. When I look at properties dialog of an object in Inkscape there are Id, Label, and Title fields. I wonder which of them would be used for the name. The Label or Title maybe?
