Calculate length all curves inside of .ai file

Hi all, I'm fairly new to Processing and one of the projects I'd like to complete/learn is this one:

I want to write a sketch that imports an .ai file and calculates the length of all curves/lines/paths inside of the file.

Can anyone send my into the right direction, what libraries I should use, etc.. Not expecting someone to write it for me, I want to learn it of course :)

Not an easy task...
You have to load the .ai file as SVG, I think.
Then you have to iterate on the PShape elements, the children, which are PShapes as well.
When they have vertices, you have to find out if they are of VERTEX, BEZIER_VERTEX, or CURVE_VERTEX type.
Some are straight lines, their length is easy to compute.
The others, you might need to use functions like bezierPoints() or curvePoints to cut the curve in small segments, and thus compute the lengths.
