Hello,

Can anyone please advise how to deal with blocky text that appears when drawing certain sketches?

Hi. You're going to have to be a little more specific.
Can you provide a screenshot and maybe a bit of code?

Just erase the previously displayed text (can be as simple as background() or a rect() call) before displaying the next one (or just don't redisplay it).
Should be a FAQ, if it isn't already.

Thanks for the responses guys. .

@phi.Iho: That does work, but calling background() again wipes off the previously drawn lines / particles, as I'm displaying the text after images have been drawn.

see phi-lho's second suggestion - blank out the text area using a rect before drawing text

(the problem is the build up of semi-transparent pixels used for anti-aliasing and, yes, should be a FAQ)

Ah I wasn't sure what was meant by that, it obviously puts a layer of that rect around the text but will suffice for now.
