basic question: make sin produce a modulating float from -1 to 1

hey guys.

yeah as above, just havent quite got the maths down for sin, need to learn but can anybody help in the mean time?

isnt that exactly what sin() does?

just put a counter in there, easiest would be frameCount

so sin(frameCount/100.0); should give you what you need.

Change 100 to adjust speed and always write .0 to divide it by a float otherwise you get an int in return...
