Hey there community!
I wanted to share this audio vis applet called Bounuce that I made for school. As a graphic design student this is the first bit of application programming I've ever done... and I found it VERY exciting. I loved the process of creating this little guy. I would appreciate any feedback you might have.
The applet detects sound coming through your computer's mic (not speaker) so it will visualized even a conversation you might be having near your computer (kinda funny)... or a sneeze (even funnier)... or a round of applause (could be used to rate popularity).
I had some problems using BeatDetect - part of the minim library. BeatDetect is supposed to make certain objects react to a perceived beat or rhythm of a song, but it seems to be reacting slowly and not portraying an acurate visualization. If you have any experience with this problem in particular, I would love some info.
For a more detailed explanation of bounce, refer to the "about" page.
