Application: BlindDraw

I started using the awt.robot class with something entirely different in mind. However, what came out is this:
It's most interesting feature is probably (besides it's inspiring concept

As for now, there is only an application version. Is there any chance I get awt.robot and save functionality running in an applet? I tried signing the applet, but that didn't work. It seems I need to dig deeper into Java permissions. Any ideas, where I could start looking? (I already googled quite a bit, but the whole subject seems to be kind of complex ...)
