Not for me... So the " better Processing than Processing" might be true, but Processing is still highly portable, thanks to the Java system.
Mmm, it is written in Java, actually, in Jython to be precise. So perhaps it won't take so much work to port it to Windows or Linux, unless they use native calls to Apple's system for performance reasons.

i found out about it a year ago, and really liked some of the ideas. like philho i am using a pc so i never had the chance to test it. but i would love to see some of the ideas added to a new processing IDE or maybe some tools.

I have had a quick look at it now but think I will let it become just that. A quick look. It feels interesting with having combined power of both Processing and Python and probably quite awesome when you get the hang of it. I like the somewhat different approach and enormous flexibility but think I will pass for the moment. I am still bothered about the news of apple ditching Java as well.
