Android Mode not working

I'm using processing 2.0b9, for some reason the android mode is not installed by default in this version, so when I try to manually install this I get this message "could not move mode 'android mode' to the sketchbook". How can I fix this?

I'm of the opinion that the "Add Mode" just plain does not work. I've also tried adding the Coffeescript and Javascript modes and they fail as well.

CoffeeScript & JavaScript installations worked alright for me.

I haven't tried Android mode though.

Totally frustrated by all this, especially the conflicting recommendations I did see that there is a bug report for the Add Mode function and found a web page that said to download and install it manually - which I did but now what? Processing still doesn't recognize Android's existence. And the doc on the Processing site at http://processing.org/tutorials/android/ is also wrong. Its instructions don't match the current Android SDK and makes the fatal assumption that Android mode is already working in Processing as installed.

WTF?

I had this same exact problem and installing it manually was the way to go for me.

Download the Android Mode zip here
Unzip it's contents correctly (see bottom) into your sketchbook / modes ( NOT the Processing2.0 directory: For me: C:Users/******/Documents/Processing/modes NOT C:Users/******/Downloads/processing-2.0/modes)
Run Processing and open the mode selector drop-down menu at the top right and select the Android option
Processing will restart and ask you where the android sdk is located

artsnova - I think your problem is that you unzipped the AndroidMode.zip wrong. When you unzip the AndroidMode.zip make sure to select the Extract Here option, not the Extract to /AndroidMode option. In other words, if there is a directory named AndroidMode inside the folder you created by unzipping AndroidMode.zip then you unzipped incorrectly.
