Android/HTC desire + OS X + run on device = :(

I've just been working through this wonderful tutorial to get processing running on an android device, however I've hit a bump and could really use a hand! The problem centres on the "Run on device" command. I have my HTC desire plugged in, I have USB debugging enabled on the device, I am running OS X 10.5.8 and have read that because I'm on a mac I don't need any additional drivers etc. When I run the command everything seems to be going swimmingly, "building Android project" comes up, then "Waiting for device to become available..." then....unfortunately "device killed or disconnected." boohoo. Anyone got any ideas at all? The emulator seems to work fine, its just "run on device" that seems to be playing up. Thanks for reading, any help would be much appreciated.

When I switched from my PC to my new mac I had prettymuch the same problem (on my Galaxy S). I have yet to get my phone to run in debug mode over the usb (on the mac, worked fine on the PC), which bums me out. I can connect the phone over usb as a HD, for transferring data, but not in 'debug mode' for Processing\Android development. However, (and I'm really not trying to be a spokesman for this app, but it worked for me) I found the app adbwireless (you need root access to run it I think), and now I just do all my development over my local wifi. If you do find a solution to your problem using the usb, I'd like to know it too ;)
