im looking for a way to upload an image over a face recognition sketch, the idea is that the sketch can put "masks" over peoples faces when they pass in front of the webcam, preferably s gif image so the masks can have movement. i have tried it with the opencv face recognition sketch but don't really understand it that much, if someone here can help me out, that would be great.

OpenCV comes with a face detection example that places a rectangle over faces. faces[i].x and faces[i].y will give you the top left of the face and faces[i].width and faces[i].height will give you the area of the rectangle.

If you want to find the center of a face use:

xCenter = faces[i].x+faces[i].width/2;

yCenter = faces[i].y+faces[i].height/2;

ok, i dont really know where to put that code in, this is what i got so far, its kind of funny but not what i want for my project. how could i make this better, also is it posible to make an array of images, eventuallly even small giff animations, into where the face is recognized? how complicated would all of this be?
