Adding shpaes into a particle system

Hi all,

I am using the basis of this code http://www.processing.org/learning/topics/simpleparticlesystem.html
and instead of circles I want to show shapes as particles.
I have been able to load the shape, however I can't get it to display as a particle.
Can anyone help with this problem?

There is a display function in the Particle class. Currently it shows two things, the fading circle and the vector arrow.

// Method to display
void render() {
ellipseMode(CENTER);
stroke(255,timer); // fading white stroke
fill(100,timer); // fading grey fill
ellipse(loc.x,loc.y,r,r); // circle
displayVector(vel,loc.x,loc.y,10); // vector arrow
}

You can add something to display or replace one or both of these. For example (assuming you loaded the PShape s)...

// Method to display
void render() {
shape(s, loc.x, loc.y, r, r);
}

Thanks for that, after I did that I realised that I was calling the PShape s inside my ParticleSystem class, like this

//Particle class
class ParticleSystem {
PImage a;
PShape s;

so I just moved it outside the class and it worked! Thanks for the help
