Hi, as for standard sketches, i could've used Minim libraries to add music and stuff. But i realised it doesnt work on Android mode. Is there any library in which it works like Minim but can be used in Android mode? Thanks alot, help appreciated~.

If you just want to play some audio files, you should use AudioPool, or MediaPlayer if it's not a lot of files or you don't want to do anything very complex.

For real time audio synthesis there is libpd, but that has a bit of a learning curve (to say the least).

Hi, i tried using MediaPlayer in the most typical way, *see below*, but processing encounters an error stating "No Library Found For Android.Media". What does that mean? I definitely had added the music file to the sketch.

MediaPlayer mediaPlayer = new MediaPlayer();

mediaPlayer.start();

That has nothing to do with the music file, but rather with the native Android media package.

Try changing the import statement to this:

import android.media.*;

That could fix a problem... alternatively, there could be a problem with your Android installation...

thought of trying that, but had no idea why i have not try yet. Will update when i try it later~

Side note : lets hope it has absolutely nothing to do with the installation. prior to playing around with the apps, i had it re-install 3 times before it worked.

Side-Side note : originally planned to code and run in emulator mode, but no matter how hard i tried, it just doesnt work, end up have to stick to using my android device.
