You can catch the console output to a file, and from here you can load it again in a string, or a array of strings. Perhaps there is also a option to catch the console output directly in a array, but i have my doubts.

The problem however, is that this catches to much information sometimes. If you remove line 20, the console.txt contains:

This goes to the file
__MOVE__ 486 275
__MOVE__ 486 275

maybe i can redirect the console output to some sort of input stream via the setOut() method. i'll give that a try.

Thanks. I found out that the code can be allot shorter if you know what info must go into the array, but still uses println as a method.

1. ByteArrayOutputStream baos = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
2. PrintStream printStream = new PrintStream(baos);
3. printStream.println("This goes into the byte array");
4. printStream.println("And also this one");
5. String[] test = split(baos.toString(), "\n");
6. println(test);
