thanks found it. 14 day demo is crippled by registration/copy protect garb. uninstall non functional must remove all instances of program manually. i'm skittish of freewarez sites. any thought of going near them manifest as crawling skin, curling toes, shortness of breath, recurring nightmares of being chased by large blue screens, public nudity, etc.....
