Is this related to the previous issue of Google not returning proper map tiles? ( https://forum.processing.org/topic/about-unfolding-library-and-googleprovider) It seems, you used your work-around (by using Java1.7) but Google still blocks you from time to time.

If you try one of the non-working URLs in your browser, what do you see? It might be a Too-Much-Request-Thumbnail, which would prove they banned you temporarily. (Check their terms of service.)

I believe this is not an Unfolding issue.

With some zoom level and with google terrain, I get thoses kinds of images (A black map with only the road ) :

I think something has changed under google with terrain images.
