3D pixels from realtime video

Hi, i stumbled upon this code on the processing website, http://processing.org/discourse/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1159143715 that processing pixels and converts them to 3D. This is absolutely perfect for a project that I am currently developing. Only there is a problem, when I run the code it takes me to this page: http://wiki.processing.org/w/Changes. Im am aware that the code was made 5 years ago which i assume is why it wont run on processing 1.2.1.

Ive gone through the code but I just cant figure out what to change in order to make it work.

Im sure for anyone who is more experience for me it would be an easy task, but any help that would shed some light on my problem would be greatly appreciated :)

Glanced over the old code... The only thing that popped out at me as out-dated was the call to framerate(). Try removing that and running it again.

Thanks for the reply, i tried removing it but i still come up with the same error: The constructor Capture(amazing3dtexture, String, int,int,int) is undefined.

I also found another code that seems to look a lot better than the one i linked, BUT this one also doesnt work for some reason.... Heres the link: http://andybest.net/2008/11/3d-webcam-lines-additive-blending/comment-page-1/#comment-56065

Sounds like you're trying to call a Capture constructor function with a very strange list of parameters.
Have a look at the reference for the video library: http://processing.org/reference/libraries/video/Capture.html
If you can work out what you're doing wrong now, great, if not, know that it's unlikely that we can determine what you're trying to do without the block of code that contains the offending constructor. IE: P0st UR codez!

I would post the codes but the codes are in the links that i posted so i didnt think there was any point because whats in the link is exactly what ive been using :P

OK so i got it working by looking at that library link u posted. The 's' in the line of code "myCapture = new Capture(this, width, s, height, 10);" needed to be deleted.

Not only was that the only problem BUT i got an error in the window when the program tried to load the camera " OHD video WebCam-WDM : SetFileName failed." I found out that processing and QTcap had to be run in windows xp SP3 computability mode for some strange reason.

BUT its all working now, thanks for your help!
