It should be possible indeed, I have achieved some measure of success with my povwriter library (exporting processing to PovRAY) see sketch on my  blog here. Since my library was original based on the dxf export library, the code of my library might be of interest (available to  view on github ). Be aware this code may need to change substantially for processing version 2.0 (dxf export and 3D PDF export are both currently broken). Going the toxiclibs route might be better, but then you'd have to wait for Karsten to get round to implementing the colorModel, and give his recently outlined ambitious development plans (including branching into clojure), then you might have to wait some time?
