So, what you are saying is basically: "Areas of equal illuminatian" have a certain aspect ratio in themselves, so words of similar aspect ratio get placed there more likely hence the "allignment" ?

And you try "fitting" words of random orientation or are you somehow pre-seeding them? I would not have thought that it works so smoothly on rather simple assumptions.  Cheesy

Yes Bejoscha, the principle is very simple...

One again the rotation choosed is the best one for the word. It just look for the best position.
