Mmm, no, I would try, if you have http://www.example.com/portfolio/saved/test to put Upload.php in http://www.example.com/portfolio ie. one folder above 'saved'. If I read/interpret correctly the PHP code.

yes, thats what i did.

the folder "saved" itself and the file Upload.php are both in the same folder (portfolio) so the Upload.php is not in the saved folder but above it.

ive got a structure like this http://www.example.com/portfolio/saved/test

and the Upload.phh is at http://www.example.com/portfolio/Upload.php

You still have the Java error? We would need some log on the PHP side...

but we will figure that out, i am sure.

yes, i still get the same Java error.
java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 4

let me know how i can supply you with the needed php log files and i will post them.

Ok, i solved the problem together with seltar.
It was a combination of missunderstanding his Installation Notes and some server settings...
