Hi Prowler,

Yes ive been doing a lot of work on this since i talked to you last.

I wrote a program in processing called Spectrotune which converts polyphonic sound to midi.

Thanks, I was looking for examples about note detection and this was exactly what I needed! Smiley

I was first a bit baffled by the way you calculate pitch, octave and semitone based on the detected frequency but then found an explanation for all that on the Wikipedia page about musical pitch.

How's you Spectrotune project going The clip on Vimeo looked really promising to me...
