I made a ellipse with blurred edges. Im still learning processing and coding, my example works but wonder is there any other solution thats more "proper"? otherwise this technique would work for blurring the edges of almost anything i guess

maybe a stupid question but is it possible to upload processing sketches to arduino for making them run standalone without connected to the computer as it is when im using the arduino enviroment?

not exactly sure what I want to do just wounder if I need to learn the arduino programming language as well or if I can get along with processing

I made processing apps for android without problems. Now I wounder if there are any similliar way of doing it for iphone. I know about iprocessing but that doesnt support later ios than ios4. Are there any for later ios?

I also heard about P5Nitro but never tried.

So my question:

Any thoughts of the best way converting processing sketches for iphone?

suddenly processing wont start. It just stops loading when open.

I exported my processing sketch as a app. But are a bit confused with the signing

Heres what I did (and maybe tutorial for others):
1) In processing: File -> Export Android Project
2) In Eclipse: File -> New -> Android -> Android Project from Existing Code
3) select the project you exported from Processing (Root Directory) in the wizard
4) doubleclick AndroidManifest.xml in the Package Explorer and change android:debuggable="true" to android:debuggable="false"
5) mark the project in the Package Explorer
6) FIle -> Export -> Android -> Export Android Application
7) Create new Keystore and set location for export and choose password
8) enter the key creation
9) select the destination for the .apk and export

Now I have created a .apk file

My questions:
1) Is my app signed? And how do I know that?
2) Whats the point of signing? Is it possible to install without signing?
3) I need to tick the checkbox in my phone for allow Unknown Source to install?

4) And since the answer is Yes for the above question. Do I have to do this even though the app is signed?

I want to create a drawing patch where the lines from the tale fades away partly. so if im drawing with ellipses I want the most recent drawn ellipses to be in alpha  0 and then slowly fade away but not completely. so you can se whats have been drawn. so I want the drawing to stay in alpha say 180

in the patch below the whole tale fades and not the individual ellipses

so:
most recent drawn ellipses start in alpha 0 and fade against 180 while the new ellipses does the same procedure.

Im editing and developing sketch with handtracking from Greg Borensteins example in the book Making things see

I want to be able to just track the hand when its within a given range. Basically I want to filter the tracking so anything outside the given range (for example a couple of meters) doesnt interfere with the handtracking.

Im trying to edit the sketch so as soon as the hand is outside the range the tracking stops and as soon as its inside the range again it continous but run into some problem. Im trying to edit the code in the bottom of this example but running out of ideas. anyone who have some suggestion?

im mainly been working on onCreateHands, onUpdateHands, onDestroyHands and onRecognizeGesture trying to stop the updating of the hand when its outside a range and to call onRecognizeGesture again when its inside. but im a bit stuck at the moment :)

Hi!

I got one green and one red ellipse. I want the red one to make a straight line while the green one to just reset everytime in draw. I tried to accomplish this through push and popStyle() but i doesnt seem to work on background()

Maybe if you think in layers, I want one layer to reset the background and one layer to not reset the background in draw.

any hints?
