We just wrapped up creating a Processing library for the Finch - a low-cost robot for Computer Science education. We're very excited about the potential uses of Processing with the Finch: our robot has a 3-axis accelerometer and some well-placed light and obstacle sensors that allow it to serve as a game controller just as easily as it does as a robot.
Indeed, although around 100 € is affordable for most computer enthusiasts (not student, without a family to care for, etc.) It is nice, and cheaper than a Roomba!
