i can't, help any one?

I never found a good solution to this.  It seems to be a focus issue.  I found that if I click on the arrow on the right and side of the screen, as if I were going to create a new file, it brings the text editor into focus.  After that, I don't have any trouble coding.

The same holds true if you click on the "Standard" button that allows you to switch to compiling modes.
