for some time I have been thinking about making a spatial augmented reality game, a mixture of strategy table games, with its board and figures, but adding computer graphics into it and a first person view from the figure's perspective. Finally, I found some spare time and this is the very first prototype for it:
I have used GLGraphics, SimpleOpenNI, NecTouch ( https://code.google.com/p/bikinect/ ), ProScene, ObjLoader and the obj to glmodel function that Florian Schulz posted on this thread https://forum.processing.org/topic/glgraphics-and-objloader (thanks!). The mech 3D model is from Makrushin Andrey, found on thefree3dmodels.com.
I'd like to keep improving it and adding functionality when I have more time, water and lighting shaders were added but didn't make it into the video.
